@GianniButtice There's so many physical nines in the PL right now. DCL, Barry, Brobbey every mid table side has a bruiser. Meanwhile top sides want a skillful player who can score.
@FPL__Raptor@FFH_HQ I'd bring on Cherki - the point of getting in a strong position is to be able to take calculated risks. There's a 50% chance he's a top top asset - finishes in top five midfielders for points all season. The chance Slob does well in the next ten is small.
@GianniButtice@SolioAnalytics@FFH_HQ feels like he has the technical skill but is lacking the confidence to use it. Thats the risk when you pick a young striker.
I dont regret my choice to play him the last couple games in my team but hes in the XG merchant bin for me now.
@DrCameronMurray Fund managers don't like when public agencies achieve consistency risk management and rates of return - they dont like the competition.
"Get of my turf!" is the message essentially.
Not saying future fund is the best but Norway fund seems to have a great track record.
@_uzi_21_@GianniButtice@fpl_tactician If Arsenal couldn't cope with Brightons aggressive high press what chance do average PL sides have? They are a front foot attacking team. Love Schade though.
@_uzi_21_@GianniButtice@fpl_tactician Schade is the player I don't own who scares me the most. Having said that I think Brightons high pressing will be horrible for every opponent right now & Gros is right in the middle. Brighton have the squad depth for now but likely can't maintain this playstyle the whole season.
@GianniButtice@fpl_tactician Even for one of the best assets in the game like Pedro, I don't see the logic of waiting for them to get 100% fit. Isn't it better to sell them and have an expensive player fit now.
Genuine question.
Seems like he's not ready.
@LetsTalk_FPL Barnes benifits from Newcastle system.
Schad an up and coming star as we've seen from Brentford before. Could be season keeper.
One of those.
@FPL_Harry But why is Konsa great value? Calafiori costs one million more for 0.27 xgi
Lewis hall gets defcon + hes very attacking + high bonus. 4 sources of returns.
With many good defensive options the appeal of a cs only is low except for the keeper when theres few good keepers.
If policy making is a rational process these outcomes would compel a reassessment of the 3% increase.
We don't have to stick to the original plan it's fine to look at the numbers and reassess. More & better information is good!
gov wanted certain goals; we are acheiving them
The super debate is running hot again. In the latest edition of budget61, Jack Buckley (@JackBuckleyEcon) and Matt Nolan (@ZjubNZ) present new analysis suggesting that in solving an undersaving problem, superannuation may be creating an oversaving one.
Thereโs no doubt that compulsory superannuation is working well in helping Australianโs save for retirement and shift the cost of old age from the taxes of the young to the savings of the old.
But with contributions now at 12 per cent, many could end up with much more cash income in retirement than they had while working.
The current system increasingly transfers money from when people are young and relatively poor to when they are old and relatively rich. And as balances grow, it risks becoming, in part, a tax-advantaged inheritance scheme.

@BenPhillips_ANU IMO policy producing an 80% replacement rate would be fine - let people decide the rest for themselves.
Especially as we have other policies like discounts.
