The Alternative Housing Voucher program (AHVP) provides vouchers for rental assistance to people under 60 years old. This program received $19.2 million. In the last 8 years funding of AHVP increased more than 5 times.

The RTA Advocates Coalition (RTAAC) has advocated for increased funding, electrification of buses, and for riders’ voices to be heard in the RTA Council via the RTA Advancement bill. While this bill did not pass. Stay tuned for more news about the electrification of bus fleets!
