@ObservatorulOcc "Compatriot" ie from the same country. Those with Romanian documents yes they are. Some feel Roma, some Romanian, some Hungarian, some Turks.
Keeping track on diaspora voting. In CEE countries it became an important factor.
What strikes me is that only in Romania one can walk in into a polling station with an ID and vote.
In an unprecedented move, the Serbian regime has decided that voting in the upcoming Serbian elections will be held only on Central European Time, meaning diaspora voters in US/Canada or Australia/New Zealand will be forced to vote in small hours of the night. For the record, about 4k Serbs registered to vote in the US this time, and that's a high number. It tells you that the regime needs literally every vote to hold on to power. Besides this, many diaspora voters simply weren't attached to any polling station abroad.
Din păcate biserica noastrā va refuza orice auto reflectie si căință.
Asta e viziunea multora despre ortodoxie dupa patru decenii de libertate. Lumanari intoarse, blesteme, eventual pelerinaje.

@MagellanQuest If you count England and Sicily you are stretching a point. The Normans from Normandie were French speakers that had only the name in it.
