Unfortunately, there have been unforeseen complications with SHBot, and its server, and it will be offline for the foreseeable future. We are looking into it and remain hopeful that we can restore it, but I want to be realistic with everyone that it may not return.

As some of you may have noticed SHBot hasn't been feeling that well the past few days. Turns out our connection to Twitch needed more water to stay healthy. We have corrected this and things should be back to normal. Sorry for any inconvenience!

With the upcoming changes to the @Twitch API there is a real chance that SHBot will not be able to continue functioning. We are looking into updating the bot, but have had difficulty with this in the past and there may not be time. https://t.co/sws9qgAzEQ

@Twitch While we want to update the bot and get it working there are other limitations that may prevent this, such as the new Twitch API not being as robust as v5. With these limitations we may not be able to get the bot stable, even if we had time.

@ethank72 Yup, the default is every 2 hours of live time, though you can adjust this. There are no message limits or anything like that at all.

SHBot is rejoining channels now and will be back in full swing with the next few minutes.
