All in all, first title fight is done and I learned a lot about how I can fight better. Gonna try to get that title shot back and claim whatβs mine for the next fight. I ainβt done. 34 years old and Iβm just getting started
Last round I start well, push the pace, but I end up on my back near the end. My left leg was hella compromised, I remember checking so many kicks that my left shin started to hurt me even when I would land a kick ππ½ was dope to see me keep going no matter what.
3rd & 4th were all right. Not sure why I insisted on using fuckin snap kicks when I was getting socked with my head upright. Shouldβve just boxed more, less energy output and I trust my hands > everyoneβs
Rewatching my fight after 2: Damn some shit looks goofy but I'd never been hurt in a fight like that. I chalk up all my awkward bits to that. 2nd round was rough but I'm proud of my resilience. 3rd round now:
The UFC did not prove that Jiujitsu was the ultimate art over the last 30 years
It proved wrestling is
Wrestlers dominate everyone in MMA
They not only dominate with wrestling but they actually become more effective strikers, submission artists & overall athletes than the rest
