Realistically it’s unlikely that Bitcoin replaces fiat in the next 10 years. If it ever does, it will be a totally collapse of financial system. I don’t know if I want that because it will be chaotic.

I can see bitcoin becoming a key currency and it will coexist along with fiat.

Bitcoin moved from $126k to $80k and now at $87K. Have you hit the bottom yet? Are we out of bear market? Are we going up from here?

I don’t know and I don’t care. We just buy every month.

When was the peak of your life? Mine hasn’t started yet.

What doesn’t kill you make you stronger.

Don’t try to outperform the market; try to survive in the market.

Trust me. It’s easier said than done.

[Hocance @StaycationValue]

Don’t start investing until you have a meaningful monthly cashflow. No one can time the market, meaning it’s inevitable for you to hold a bag at some point. The only way to get out of it is to simply wait. Waiting however is not easy. It’s a losing battle. You need to be able to buy the dip to prevent yourself from selling.

[Hocance @StaycationValue]

Always ask yourself.

Are you investing or gambling?

If you can’t tell how investing is different from gambling, you should probably reassess your situation.

If you own something that has a high intrinsic value, sit back and relax. Price will eventually follow the intrinsic value. It’s just a matter of time.

[Hocance @StaycationValue]

When the market or a specific asset is performing well, it feels like the price will go up forever.

On the other hand, when the market or a specific asset is on the decline, it feels like the price will go down forever.

You need to break out of this pattern. A short term noise or volatility shouldn’t be the indicator. Buy the intrinsic value, not the price.

If you start chasing the price, you will buy high and sell low.

Everyone is concerned with quantum computers cracking Bitcoin.

No need to worry and here’s why:

1. Not many people use single-sig wallets. Most people use multi-sig wallets and/or passphrases. Quantum computers won’t be able to crack those. Especially passphrases make the wallet infinitely random, making it impossible for any computers to crack it.

2. By the time Bitcoin wallets are cracked, no security system would’ve survived.

@COLDCARDwallet Retweet and follow done! Bitcoin is better than gold because ultimately Bitcoin is the only asset that gives us the endless assurance and conviction! Never sell your bitcoin!!!

My favorite #Bitcoin moments are
1. When I first saved 1 bitcoin
2. When I transferred 1 bitcoin to my cold wallet
3. When I started to run my own node
4. When bitcoin hit $100,000 for the first time.

I will inherit bitcoin to my kids using ColdCardQ!
