70 members of the club meet every Wednesday for fellowship. Annually we raise over £15,000 for local and international charities and enjoy ourselves doing so.
Easter Egg collection

On 14th Dec. President Julia presented a cheque for £1200 to Project Gambia for funding a toilet block in a school in The Gambia .Club funds were helped by a grant from District 1060 of £600.
Socialy distanced members and their partners responded to President Julia’s invitation to join her at 10.00 o’clock on Wednesday 11th November in Mary Steven’s Park for the laying of the club wreath at the War Memorial.
Past President Chris Fonteyne, Chairman of the governors at Wollescote School presents a cheque for £375 to Lynne Hudson, Head Teacher.
The amount which includes a £250 grant from Rotary District’s Community Fund will help the school support families during the Covid19 lockdown.

Local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Stourbridge in the year to July 2020 have included, The Chris Westwood Charity, Mary Stevens Hospice, Black Country Food Bank, Midland Air Ambulance, Acorn Children's Hospice, Living Springs, Discover U and Loaves and Fishes.
Over forty donations to charity, totalling £21,000 were made to local,national and international charities in the year 2019-2020 by the Rotary Club of Stourbridge.
The Club now meets weekly on Zoom with up to 40 members on-line. In July, Julia Savage was welcomed as the first lady President of the Club and she received her badge of office at a socially distanced ceremony. We wish Julia a happy and successful, if different year of office.
22 pupils from Wollescote school and 12 Rotarians spent the morning planting 400 young trees in Wollescote Park and got very wet and muddy in the process!
Stourbridge Rotarians will be out in force tomorrow planting 5,000 more purple crocus corms on the grass embankment on Birmingham St (near the tip) all to raise awareness of the campaign to eradicate Polio.

The Club celebrated the start of the new Rotary year with a service at St Mary's Old Swinford followed by a cream tea, New President Andrew is shown with Pam and the team for the coming year.
Stourbridge Rotary was delighted to welcome Lord Cobham as speaker at its meeting on 30th May. Lord Cobham gave the members an entertaining talk on Hagley and the Lytteltons.
