Hi, I tried to chat with you on several occasions but got an error message each time. My father is paying inordinate fees for a business account that he gets no benifit from. He wishes to close the account please.

@BarclaysUK 3/ Is there a way I can make a complaint to apply a for readdress given that he has probably paid over £1,000 for no reason and is on a low income?

@BarclaysUK 2. I believe he has been paying £12 a month for the account and has received no benefit whatsoever over the last 8-10 years. He is a semi retired sole trader (71 y/o) and could manage with a simple current account, but no one has thought to inform him of this.

@BarclaysUK I was trying the chat feature over summer 2020 so I assumed the service was down due to large volume of bounce back loans taking precedence. He is not set up for telephone banking so trying to sort this out on his behalf.
