I think the fees received by #wafc for youth players, where we are able to negotiate, could have been the final straw. That and not signing anyone with potential and resale value in the last 3 years.
Did incredible work in the academy that hasnโt got its rewards in terms of fees it should of, but as far as being sporting director he seemed well out of his depth from the outside looking in #wafc
Wigan Athletic are interested in re-signing 26 year old midfielder Callum Wright on a free transfer after his release from Plymouth Argyle โ๏ธ ๐ฅง

@faz42@upthetics25@PKendrickWIG But given both Whelan and IEC held it as a separate company there may well be truth behind it. As said it all adds up to not doubt unless shown otherwise.
@upthetics25@faz42@PKendrickWIG The transfer of the stadium not showing on Companies House as a transaction does raise suspicion. It could have been used as a write off of the debt owed to him for the loans he has put in. So yes that is an own goal whether the valuation is ยฃ2.3 as Companies House or Faz above
@upthetics25@faz42@PKendrickWIG There's calling out the truth and then there's over exaggerating the truth.
Saying he is asset stripping us and pocketing the cash is the latter as he isn't taking cash out of us. It just means less of his own cash in to run us. Players will also want to progress their careers.
@faz42@upthetics25@PKendrickWIG The problem being there is the stadium company never made any profit since. IEC & Danson aren't in sport and it shows. As for the legal side of it, the club claim it's a convent (right spelling?) That neither club should directly own it. Unless proven otherwise who do we believe
@upthetics25@faz42@PKendrickWIG Because without the stadium they wouldn't have secured a sale for the club, something that Danson may well find out now that the club will have to be sold with the stadium company too.
@faz42@upthetics25@PKendrickWIG 1. Club said it had to, so unless proved otherwise what are we to expect.
2. Reduced turnover yes, but with profit and sustainability, the losses would be detrimental
3. Accounts on Companies House say otherwise for stadium.
4. I agree
@faz42@upthetics25@PKendrickWIG Of which he legally had to and was a noose around our neck financially to run. He may value it at that, others will disagree. Such as their accounts on Companies House.
