You recently said that people should consider adapting their lifestyles to protect our climate @KwasiKwarteng - so why are you allowing new oil and gas licences? Please make sure we create green jobs for our future instead. #KwasiPleaseAct

In a year when the UK is hosting major climate talks and inviting leaders from around the world to agree on how they plan to tackle the climate crisis – building a £165m deep coal mine just doesn’t make sense. @BorisJohnson when will you step in and scrap the mine? #EndCoal

Our essential supplies have been provided by the local Ferry Store, who rewarded loyal customers with a raffle ticket to win a luxury hamper of goods for shopping spends over £45. John Chapple was lucky enough to win June’s prize and was delighted with the contents!
July is here and Ardnamurchan is beginning to emerge from Lockdown.
If you're new to West Highland driving, or just not driven our wiggly single-track roads for some time, it's an acquired taste, here are some tips on how to get around safely keeping the road flowing free.
The Kilmory beach is one of my favourite places. At the low tide you can collect sea shells, listen to the sound of the waves, watch flying seagulls and (if you are lucky) see a seal. Don't you want to come for a holiday? 💙

There are so many roads calling on an adventure! Isn't it hard to resist? I guess it's time to choose one of those roads and start an unforgettable journey. Any one of them will lead you right to the Steading Holidays ☀️
Oh deer!
In the Highlands we have plenty of them. Even if you are planning to spend only a long weekend with the Steading Holidays, you still have all the chances to show your kid a Bambi or even a herd of them! 🦌🦌🦌
What kind of a walker are you? The one who follows a safe path, or the one who paves his own way? Frankly, I'm in the second group. Climbing over the slippery rocks, bending under the old tree brunches, jumping over the fleeting streams, being ready for any kind of surprises...
Happy Valentine's! In Kilchoan even the lonely ones can get a bunch of flowers 🌸 They should just get out of the cottage, go for a walk to the seashore and watch carefully. Oh, here they are! Lovely, tiny West-coast flowers! Come and get yours here: https://t.co/8JQ78AGMh0
Doesn't wild nature inspire to art? I guess, at arm's length from the creative forces of Mother Nature, even those who think they are deprived of talent can suddenly find themselves constructing some beautiful stone sculptures like the ones I've found at the seaside in Kilchoan.
When one of our guests was on her way to Kilchoan, a lady at the Fort William bus stop told her: "Oh, you're guaranteed to see extremely beautiful sunsets every evening!"
And it's true 🌅 And the most magical thing is that every sunset is different...
Ardnamurchan lighthouse is the only one in the UK built in the Egyptian style. It's also notable for being the most westerly lighthouse of the UK, and the views from it's surroundings are unforgettable. Have you already been here?
There are 3 things you can watch forever: fire burning, water falling, and other people working. 1) Ardnamurchan is a land of waterfalls. 2) At the Steading we have cottages with a fireplace for your holiday. 3) You can find someone working. At least me 😂
