@bentrified@FreyaHolmer I have no problem falling asleep (takes me less than 5 minutes!), staying asleep was always the issue for me, and melatonin helps a lot. It's worth a try!
Update: There was a lot of refactoring involved, but I finally finished the website's automation so that Steam's data is collected and updated daily.
I'm now using @GamalyticSite 's API to include their excellent estimates for gross revenue, owners and copies sold.

Unity will soon charge devs per-install after a certain threshold. I'd like to express my concerns regarding privacy (tracking installs/downloads), preservation and changing the whole business model while devs are using the engine for their projects. 🫤

One time, my solo indie game was compared with a recent Nintendo title. It was meant as a criticism, but tbh I couldn't dream of a bigger compliment. 🥰

your game, no matter the price or budget, is being directly compared to AAA titles of the same genre!
Almost nobody cares:
- if 5 or 500 people worked on a game
- if it took 6 or 60 months to complete
- if it cost $1k or $10M to make
You launched your game, got some awesome traction and then silence...
You start to wonder:
"Is it my gameplay?
"Is it my lack of marketing?"
"My mechanics are probably bad..."
Have you collected any data on it?
If not, how can you make an educated decision moving forward?
