We're hoping this doesn't affect our dragon boating on the Allegheny for long. We're searching for a source for U.S. Coast Guard announcements so we can get the latest status.

[Allegheny County @Allegheny_Co]

The public is being asked to avoid the area as the roadway in the area will be closed for several days for clean-up. The U.S. Coast Guard continues to have the Allegheny River closed. That closure is expected to remain in place until all materials are removed from the area.
