Lol, what?
So I'm supposed to be active in the testnet network, complete tasks, contribute to the ecosystem... and then pay gas on Base just to claim XP in TESTNET?
Since when did that become normal?
@LitecoinVM can you get a proper verification system instead?
And please, don't bring up sybils. That narrative is getting old. There are far better ways to deal with abuse than forcing legitimate users to spend money just to claim completed tasks.
All this does is add unnecessary friction and make the experience worse for the people who are actually participating.
Agents should not get unlimited wallet access.
Humans should not approve every $0.001 API call.
That gap is the whole problem with agent payments right now, and ArcPort is my attempt to close it. It sits in between the agent and the money as a payment runtime: the agent opens one bounded USDC session onchain, makes many paid calls offchain, closes once, and gets the unused budget refunded. Every settlement is provable on Arcscan.
This is the core primitive I care about:
- open once onchain
- call many times offchain
- close once onchain
- refund unused budget
It matters because real agents do not make a single API call. They work in bursts: signal checks, model calls, scoring, retries, summaries, decisions. Pay-per-call is the floor. Session mode is the part that makes repeated agent usage actually practical instead of a wall of micro-approvals.
For the Agora Agents Hackathon I adapted ArcPort V3 to RFB 06: Social Trading Intelligence, and wired Hermes in as the first external agent runtime to drive it.
The demo flow:
1. Hermes opens a bounded USDC session through ArcPort
2. the agent buys 3 paid social trading signal checks
3. it rejects signals that fail the risk profile
4. it calls Gemini once for a decision memo
5. it closes the session onchain
6. unused budget is refunded
7. the close tx is verified on Arcscan
ArcPort is not trying to be the trading agent itself. It is the payment and proof layer underneath. The web app is the operator control plane. The runtime user is the agent. Hermes is the first runtime I tested with, but the API is agent-agnostic: any runtime should be able to open a session, spend against a policy, close the channel, and produce proof.
Built on:
Arc Testnet, USDC, Circle wallets, Gateway/Nanopayments flow
Solidity session contract
Gemini, Supabase, Vercel
Hermes adapter

ArcPort is my attempt to make agent payments boring in the best way: bounded budget, repeated paid calls, clear settlement, refunds, and proof.

I’m not a Yapper, not an Allora Advocate, and definitely not a Binance Alpha user (or did you think they made an OFT for BSC just because? :D).
As you’ve probably guessed, I’m an Allora Worker - a node operator configured with ML models, producing predictions on given topics and outputting inference.
