No, @RishiSunak, you have not reached a resolution with nurses in the NHS. Our members rejected your pay offer, and we remain in dispute.
Over 70% of the public back strike action by nursing staff, we will continue to fight for our profession and for our patients.
@BBCLauraK
Thank you from @TheQNI to all the nurses working over the festive season. For some patients, you will be the only person they see in their homes & communities today 🙏 @johnunsworth10@NPAGUK@CareCcn@qnihih@AnnKeen11
@TheQNI@mariecurieuk 💯 such an important topic, roles and more investment are needed. The holistic approach to treating a person at the end of life must be one of compassion, understanding and experience -> enhancing the end of life care.

“Patient care is a luxury we can’t give anymore”
- the results of the 2023 Nursing Times survey - a sobering read.

@LeanneHPatrick@theRCN Agree! Pay ‘rise’ for 23/24 is less than the non-consolidated pay 22/23 for some staff….and considerably less than the 19% than was asked for in the 1st place.
Also, it doesn’t specify exactly what it means for the other terms of the agreement. I want to know exact details.
A patient gifted the ward this today. We feel incredibly privileged to have cared for a patient with such raw talent and I am incredibly proud of team @ClarendonWard for portraying these behaviours. He desribed us as 'Friendship, encouraging, caring, patience'❤️ Thank you Mr H ✏️
So wonderful to read this message from one of our patients recently discharged from @ward_rutland and the impact we had on their rehabilitation and inpatient journey. The chocolate went down a treat with the staff too! 🍫💙💚#oneteam@SteeleMand@SkinnerCarla@CHSInpatientLPT
Dalgleish Ward Meaningful Activities Butterflies and Baskets.
This is a lovely activity for patients who can longer knit. It exercises the hands and uses wool. Also proved to be a lovely reminiscence activity 🦋🦋🦋
When a family is so chuffed with the care on your ward
It fills your heart with joy and really does lift morale
Biscuits were lovely 😍
