'Facing The Elements' ft. @StefBishop is one of two very different but equally gruelling stories of mountain adventure in our latest issue #LtW29 – where we explore the idea of Type II fun – an activity that is difficult or unpleasant when we're doing it, but fun in hindsight.
Nassau is asking residents who experienced damage due to Ida contact our office of Emergency Management at 516-573-9600 so that we are eligible for FEMA aid. We are committed to fighting to get relief as soon as possible for homeowners & reviewing needed infrastructure fixes.
@GovKathyHochul Forget the LIRR, - a flash flood brought 4 feet into our home & our neighbors in Manhasset. We need government aid ASAP to recover from this disaster!! #TropicalStormIda
@TwittsMcGee I was talking with a friend the other week how JNCOs are due for their comeback. None of this overpriced BS. Genuine JNCOs. UFOs too while we’re at it.

Trying to have my first reflex be empathy.
@mattygreggruns I think it’s pretty hilarious that you ended on 599, but I don’t think it was intentional... but you went that far, so what’s another mile? Obviously me questioning this is driving me more nuts than the actual number.
When you fail a lot, your “why” becomes really strong.
Thanks @lindsaycrouse for sharing my story of how this helped me make 2020 my best year yet.

@mattygreggruns Mets. Season starts out great... hits a rough spot... glimmer of [false] hope... then uncontrollably spins out of control into the depths of hell. Usually many changes mid-season, not much is productive. Now with a new owner, hoping it will lead them to being champions again.
