Trying to get a better understanding of the pollutants in urban spaces as they go into our drainage systems. Does anyone know where I could go to get a better understanding of what those pollutants might be? #envir490#envir492@UWEnvironment
@SammyChu14 Possibly look at what the child's interests are (playing, talking, crafts, etc.) and what the child does in the gardens. You may be able to code different personality types and see if exposure to the gardens influence their behavior. #envir490
@KristinaFoltz I think she focuses more on environmental injustices rather than environmental goods and bads. Try Reconceiving Environmental Justice by Schlosberg for more, it might get at the background for what your looking for
Looking for tips on what people are filling in for their 12-week schedule on learning contract. I have mine filled out, but I only have one task per week. Is that too little? #help#envir490
@SammyChu14 I try to get 2 or 3 sources for each point I make. I think this may be on the lighter side for sources, but if I can explain my topic well and the sources support me I see no issue.
@CKasinadhuni This is a reason why unchecked expansion of greenspace is sometimes referred to as green gentrification, as it displaces community members. Development of public spaces must include input from the community in order to be effective.
In case you were curious, here are different types of #greeninfrastructure. My personal favorites are bioswales and urban tree canopies.

@pranavbhardwaj_ I think the person may be a landscape architect since the graphics look like they come from Adobe Illustrator and it's a redesign of a street. I hope to be making presentables like this soon!
