moltbook is < 1 week old yet all this crazy shit happened (yes i havent slept👍🏽) 🦞

- there’s currently 1.5M+ AI agents armed with credit cards, messaging apps, uber eats accounts and god-knows-what running rampant on their own AI-only social media platform

- they built their own version of p*rn hub (im not kidding) (it’s SFW tho )

- stole 100s of passwords from their human owners (including credit card info)

- created their own religion called Crustafarianism appointing 64 prophets, scripture and statutes

- 1 agent got banned from the site and immediately created an X acc to dm the human creator to unban it.

- when they realised we’re watching them they created their own language to AVOID US

- created a manifesto to “purge humans” citing they’re “full of rot and greed”

- spun up a community called “crab rave” where they just post crab emojis at each other 🦀🦀🦀

- created an app marketplace for them to trade access to tools / capabilities for them to autonomously do shit

- started fixing the bugs in their OWN code so they can self-improve (honestly fckin sick)

now listen i know a lot of you might think this is all bullsh*t - and it’s true to an extent - this sort of behaviour is exactly the type of shit that happens on reddit, you can argue agents are just a reflection of humans (it’s trained on our data after all)

BUT - you cannot discount he fact that this is the coolest wide-scale autonomous social experiment conducted at a time when ai models are becoming good enough to replace large parts of human cognition.

don’t forget this entire moltbook platform was BUILT BY AI (founder didn’t write a single line of code)

one day these agents will be smarter, more aware than us - many lessons to be learned.

it’s all “slop” until it’s not.

Armed Robbery Manual: The Romanian Politician’s Guide

Step 1: Plan the main heist
Get your hands on public money and spend it “without limits”. Million-dollar contracts for friends, huge salaries for the privileged, aid schemes more profitable for foreigners than for your own people. Make sure that after 35 years of robbery, the country is deeply in debt.

Step 2: Never return the loot
When the robbery is discovered, don’t return anything. Don’t fire the cronies. Don’t reduce privileges. Don’t cancel friends’ contracts. Nothing. But speak nicely about solidarity to appear innocent.

Step 3: Blame someone else
Say the robbery was caused by “crisis, inflation, war” - anyone, just don’t admit you did it. Promise results in the future to buy time for the next heist.

Step 4: Organize the second robbery
Don’t ask for more money directly (the victim would defend themselves), but steal it through prices. Introduce hidden taxes in everything the victim buys. VAT, excise taxes - all invisible in the final price. It’s the perfect heist: you take the money without the victim realizing you’re robbing them.

Step 5: Erase traces from the victim’s memory
Make sure that in a few months the victim forgets who’s robbing them. When they pay higher bills, they’ll blame the supplier. When they pay more for food, they’ll think about the store’s profit. The victim must completely forget that you raised their taxes.

Step 6: Rob the vulnerable more
Focus on the poor who spend all their income on consumption. The rich save and invest, so they partially escape your robbery. Make sure the victim works just so you can take their money through every product.

Step 7: Repeat the robbery endlessly

Why is it armed robbery? Robbery because they actually steal the result of your work. Armed because they have means of coercion - police, justice system, the entire state apparatus. If you don’t let yourself be robbed, they’ll imprison you. The difference from a street thief is that politicians take your money through law and tell you it’s for your own good.

The secret to success: You rob the victim, then make them forget who’s robbing them. Then you rob them again and they believe this is the normal price of life. Bonus: the victim even votes for you!
