Dear STAY,

Today, we received news that many of us knew would eventually come, but weren't ready to hear.

With JYPE's announcement regarding Lee Know's upcoming military service in the first quarter of 2027, the reality of this next chapter in Stray Kids' journey is beginning to settle in.

We know STAYs around the world are experiencing many different emotions right now. Some are heartbroken. Some are frustrated or worried about what this means for upcoming activities. Some are trying to remain positive, while others simply need time to process everything. Every one of those feelings is valid.

There is no right or wrong way to feel about this announcement, and no one should feel pressured to immediately find the positive side of something that makes them sad.

For nearly nine years, we've watched eight incredibly talented individuals grow together, overcome challenges, achieve extraordinary things, and build something that means so much to millions of people around the world.

And while we knew this chapter would eventually arrive, that doesn't make the emotions surrounding it any less real.

To our fellow STAYs, please be gentle with yourselves and with one another. You don't have to be strong today. You don't have to pretend you're okay. You don't have to find the perfect words. And you certainly don't have to navigate these feelings alone.

The coming years will undoubtedly look different, but the bond between Stray Kids and STAY is something that doesn't change with schedules, distance, or time.

The journey isn't ending. It's changing. And whatever those changes bring, the love that built this fandom doesn't simply disappear.

We wanted to say something to the members in our post, but every attempt felt too much like a goodbye, like one final "STEP OUT." And that just didn't feel right. Because this isn't goodbye.

So instead, we'll simply sign off with this...

i honestly feel like they deliberately held back the rest of the tour dates because they were waiting for the government’s decision on whether his enlistment could be postponed. if his deferment had been approved until the end of the year, maybe we would’ve gotten the european and US tour dates instead of today’s enlistment announcement.

but since (and this is just my personal assumption) his deferment most likely wasn’t approved, here we are. now i can only see two possible outcomes: either they’ll have the other members continue the tour without lino, or they’ll finish the asian leg, announce some encore dates and pretend they never promised us anything beyond that. and that’ll be the end of the world tour.
