On Founder’s Day, I find myself reflecting on the sheer audacity of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah’s vision. It’s one thing to read about it, but another to truly grasp that he was imagining a future for Ghana that even today feels ambitious. He dreamt of dams, highways, and industries at a time when many couldn’t see past the immediate horizon.

It’s humbling to realize that the criticisms he faced were often from those who couldn’t comprehend the scale of his dream. Today, we live in that dream. We drive on his roads, draw power from his dam, and are educated in the institutions he established. His work wasn’t just construction; it was an act of faith in the future of Ghana, a faith that has been profoundly vindicated.

His legacy is not just a chapter in a history book; it’s the foundation we stand on. The question for us now is: how do we build upon it?
