@korrathetaymi@sneako Islam did not inherit the prophets. It conscripted them. It rewrote history so that Jesus preached Islam while Abraham, Moses, and the rest were retrofitted.
Islam has forced you into a very difficult position to defend historically… to say the least.
The earliest surviving sources of biblical text corroborate what we have today, so to say that they started off Islamic and slowly drifted into something different is more than just a stretch. It’s a reinvention of history. Muslims have no choice to believe that the “original” islamic version of the text was lost forever, with zero evidence pointing to how or when this mass corruption event occurred. Can you point to any biblical manuscript that contains teachings unique to Islam that have been removed from the current text? According to secular historical scholarship there was never a point in time when the Bible was aligned with Islamic theology which appears 700 years after Jesus. The entire foundation of Islam rests on the credibility of one man, the one you call your profit, who emerged from a cave declaring he was “the final messenger of God”, laying claim to biblical lineage, but coming up with something entirely incompatible and inconsistent with the historical record.
@SueSuemaria1@Jcauffen@BrockRiddickIFB Umm posting memes and videos instead of engaging in conversation kinda makes you look like the clown. If you understand what you’re talking about, have a discussion.
