New paper went online on my bday! Thank you @NatureEnergyJnl for the bday gift π Ultrathin, lightweight #perovskite#solarcells with improved stability powering palm-size Solar Hopper quadcopter drone https://t.co/4g7N1rRoGY
In this work we show that UV light can be used to control how perovskite crystals form: depending on the composition, UV exposure either suppresses crystallization (in 3D perovskites) or promotes it (in 2D perovskites), enabling crystal growth under mild conditions.
Happy to share that our paper βPhotochemical Control of Perovskite Crystal Formation at Room Temperatureβ is now published in Advanced Science!
Feel free to check it out! https://t.co/NAPpc2jHDf
This photochemical lever offers a simple, low-energy method to steer perovskite film formation, which could open up new routes for flexible films, composite materials, or novel device architectures.
