Merry Christmas!
I typically do these in three parts:
X POST - A quick explanation in a sentence or two, under 180 characters.
FACEBOOK SUMMARY - A cut to the chase statement of key details and events, but without documentation.
HOMEWORK - A walkthrough of the scriptures that document the above two, and deeper commentary is posted on my FB page, or available by email.
I hope you like it. I did it in about a day, so the soup hasn't simmered completely yet, but it's meaty!

Mary's relatives allow us to document December 25th was the conception date of Jesus, and we learn about it in Luke chapter 1.
FACEBOOK SUMMARY
In the first chapter of Luke he is telling them how to be certain Jesus was the one written about, and those details reveal the timing of his conception and birth... yet many churches argue and defend various positions. Some say conception, most say birth, and some say it isn't actually written.
Luke teaches us Elisabeth's husband, Zacharias, was performing his priest duties at the temple during the course of Abia. At that time he is visited by the angel of God (that's Gabriel). Gabriel tells him that they are going to have a baby, and to name him John. This is going to be John the Baptist. When Zacharias finished with his duties he returned home.
The course of Abia would have been from June 13th-19th. Between travel and the Sabbath he would have made it home on June 23rd or 24th. So we have the conception of John at that time. Elisabeth was old so she was embarrassed, and she hid for 5 months. That takes us to November 24th. She is five months pregnant on November 24th.
Then it's written in Elisabeth's sixth month Gabriel went to visit Mary. A month after November 24th takes us to December 24th. This is when Gabriel told Mary what was about to happen that night. The next day on the 25th Mary ran to share with Elisabeth, and when she got there John leaped in the womb.
All of this gives us the timing of Gabriel's visit, and Mary isn't pregnant yet. We know John was 6 months older than Jesus, so while this confirms the 25th is the conception there's more meat to be had:
1) Zacharias was a Levitical priest, so his wife Elisabeth had to be a Levite as well. Mary's dad however was of the tribe of Judah. So how could Elisabeth and Mary be cousins? Because Mary's mom and Elisabeth's mom were sisters. Mary's mom married into Judah making her daughter (Mary) half Judah, half Levite. This is important because even though Joseph was not the dad of Jesus, Mary being half Levite half Judah means Jesus himself had DNA from both sides, making him the King of Kings (Judah is the king line), and Lord of Lords (Levi is the priest line).
2) John leaped in the womb at six months, but it was at the presence of Christ when Mary got there the next day. That tells us that both John and Jesus were in their respective wombs, and they were present since conception. That is when the soul enters the flesh. There is no period of waiting between conception and when "life" begins.
3) Priests were married, and had kids... whaaaat?
Years ago I was at a pro basketball game. When the game ended we watched a little of a different game in the arena bar. As we walked to our car the parking lot was empty. It was me and one friend, and our wives. Out of nowhere two cop cars came flying across the parking lot with their lights on. I turned and yelled back to my friend (who was 20 yards or so behind me) "There must be a donut sale!" The second car slammed on his brakes and started giving me the business.
Question one: As firemen you don't think we won't talk shit when we have the chance?
Question two: What was so important they had to speed through with lights on, but stopped for a donut comment?
Go back to the gate Chris.

When I heard Chad and Shannon's clip it reminded me of this FedEx commercial, which is still my favorite to this day (tied with the Gray Poupon squeeze bottle in the limo): https://t.co/2NXsH49tYR
@PatUnleashed@realKrisCruz I'm with Kris. Food ordered at a counter should not be tipped. Food tips are for sit down service. However, I tip 20% always, because I don't want my food mishandled out of spite (from a lesser product up to spit... not worth the risk).
@lauramatsue Our country is in trouble. The past few weeks has really exposed our cancer.
It has to be this way, because every soul is tested. Try basis is all a big setup for the first white horse, then the second (Ours).
Ive been going back and watching videos of Charlie debating with students. This particular debate left me in awe. What an incredibly knowledgeable man.
Take a moment to witness and be inspired……

@jasonwhitlock I appreciate you’re looking at them seriously, but you’re studying a failed business of Godless scissors. You’re wasting your time unless you’re trying to document their demise. It’s getting harder to tune in daily on the Blaze.
