@agirlopinions@knovastreams I've seen so many vets say chicken & rice with broth is a good option if they're sick, its bland enough to not make them sicker. I give this to my service dog when he's sick minus the red pepper, use a low broth chicken broth.
@agirlopinions@knovastreams This & chicken & rice. Or make a dog friendly chicken noodle soup. I have a recipe for it on my Instagram, I'll find it & screenshot it & put the pic on here.

@StarDrifter420 You mean light sensitivity/photo phobia? I get that with migraines & I love blackout eye masks. They make some for side sleepers too. I wasn't sure if you meant lightning or light sensitivity...not sure what would help with lightning.
as you're decorating for Halloween please don't use strobe or flashing lights, as these make the environment inaccessible or outright unsafe for people with seizures, migraines, low-vision, etc. this is a small way to be kind to your neighbors & visitors with medical conditions.
Chronically ill people don’t want a diagnosis just because we’re looking for something to be wrong. We want a diagnosis so that we can validated, learn about our illness, figure out how to accommodate ourselves, and maybe find ways to manage it. It’s not a hard concept to grasp.
Disabled people do not recover fast from natural disasters. Damages, trauma, physical and psychological effects can last years. Community involvement is vital, and mutual aid is crucial.
I have a lot of experience with reactive abuse. Nothing enrages me more than abusing someone until they snap and *then* playing victim. That shit is insidious. Y'all never grew out of being the youngest sibling.
Despite of having a lot of share on this post, we still haven’t received any donation.. pls continue to share and donate if you’re able, any amount helps!! Pls 😞🙏

You are NOT lazy. You are exhausted from the grief and trauma you’ve endured. Also, one very real response to trauma is shutting down - according to polyvagal theory this is called dorsal vagal shut-down. Its when you freeze and maybe even dissociate, have little energy, and feel stuck. Obviously we are accountable for the healing, AND also, please give yourself GRACE. -Dr. Jen
