What are your favorite pieces of writing about DS as a discipline? Blog posts are good, but I'm particularly interested in longer form stuff that digs into the intellectual lineage of the field, like Tukey's "The Future of Data Analysis" or Donoho's "50 Years of Data Science"
To everyone posting about h indices & citations, just remember:
1) people cite their friends
2) minorities are cited at lower rates
3) authors are pressured by reviewers into adding refs
