@aliciajthomps0n 1st dose I had an upset stomach for a day, 2nd dose I had a sore arm. Highly recommend Motrin or Tylenol if it hurts when you're trying to sleep. I deal with anxiety too....you've got this! Good luck!
Dear Young Adults,
You can leave.
If you don’t like your doctor, walk out in the middle of your appointment.
Leave the party. End the date. Don’t wait until the “polite” time to leave or endure because you think you’ll make a scene.
You can go.
A2: I think books for young audiences are banned most often because many adults (in their infinite fear) believe it's better to shield young people than to help young people grow to become shields for others. #BannedBooksChat
@TBeeneEdu@Seidlitz_Ed@Region15ESC I don't know if I have a message for all teachers, but I would like teachers in early ed grades to understand just how important they are. Fight to keep "silliness"-games/songs/rhymes pushed out of curriculum-they are vital to lang/reading dev.
Always a pleasure to be in a @Seidlitz_Ed PD! This is the 2nd time I have gotten to see @TBeeneEdu speak on diverse learners and I always learn so much. Ready to take these strategies back to my students! @Region15ESC
@SAISD_Athletics It is also important that kids in sports are taught to support all the cheerleaders, dance team, and band that come out to support and cheer them on all season long.
I love this. Too many times we think we have to be perfect as teachers. We don't have to know all the answers. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and model real-time learning.
Teachers venting about going back to school or wishing that their summer break was longer (especially after this past year) does NOT mean that they hate teaching.
Just like when parents can't wait for their kids to go back to school doesn't mean that they hate their kids.
