We're excited to share that the first week of Compassionate Citizen Month at Sears has been a great success! Students and staff completed a "kindness leaf" to add to our school bulletin, each sharing a quote or example of what kindness means to them.
Kenilworth School District 38 and The Joseph Sears School are excited to announce that the work done as part of the Master Facilities Plan (MFP) has culminated with an Outstanding Design Award for Interior Renovation from American School and University Magazine.
As is tradition at Sears, the third-grade class held its Word Parade on September 20. Third-grade students have been reading the word-friendly book Donovan’s Word Jar.

On May 17, we welcomed Vivenne and Eleanor Buck as the Principals for a Day. Principal Vivenne Buck is a third-grade student from Mrs. Conaghan’s class, and Principal Eleanor Buck is a first-grade student from Mrs. Masood’s class who got the experience of a lifetime.
