We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They get 15 mins of recess every hour. They have NO standardized tests except for PISA in HS and they outperform us every time. When we can’t give students more recess, physical activity & Arts then we don’t understand education.

Teachers' plates were already overloaded before the pandemic and the massive teacher shortage. Districts have to find ways to lessen the unrealistic expectations.

I never penalize students for getting the right answer that uses a different method. New math is scary! This I do not understand but as long as the students do they can teach it to me so that I can understand when I see more students doing this! #SMU622
