Today, @elonmusk announced that if 'you've been unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill.' With this in mind, let me share my story:

I am Simon Goddek, once an enthusiastic scientist. Six months ago, I lost my job at the Norwegian Research Institute @SINTEF, accused of “exceeding my freedom of expression on Twitter”.

What predated this is my job loss at the Dutch University @wur in 2021, where I showed on Twitter why I believed the peer-review process of Christian Drosten's Covid PCR Protocol was most likely rigged. As a consequence, I didn't just lose my job, but my Twitter account as well. Consequently, I was able to smoothly transition to a new role at the Norwegian Research Institute, a position I held without issue until my Twitter account was reinstated in early 2023.

During my absence from Twitter, I collected many quotes and videos from people who publicly defamed the unvaccinated and those holding differing views. When my account got reinstated, I found myself with the unexpected opportunity to confront these individuals with their own words. What has now become my daily "Good morning" routine, consisting of exposing these quotes, was not initially well-received by those I addressed. The backlash seemingly resulted in a barrage of complaint emails to my former employer, which ultimately led to my dismissal.

SINTEF's complete justification for my unjust dismissal reads as follows:
"There have been several incidents on Twitter etc., where Goddek's comments have exceeded his right to freedom of expression, as some of the comments made are based on obvious falsehoods which are apt to damage SINTEF's reputation, e.g., allegations of 'corruption'."

The allegation of corruption refers to the screenshot I attached to this tweet. Nothing about the question I asked justifies the termination of my contract. Stating that I exceeded my freedom of expression is against the law in any country without a dictator.

It's also my right as a free citizen to say that…
▪️ Russia is not the main culprit in the Ukraine conflict
▪️There are only two genders
▪️ Covid vaccines did more harm than good
▪️ Vitamin D and Ivermectin could have saved millions of lives
… even though these political positions were not shared by my former employer.

In the meantime, I've filed a lawsuit against SINTEF and hope to face them in court soon. To meet the very high legal costs in Norway, I was compelled to sell my car, given that my current income from my startup @sunfluencer is far from sufficient. It's precisely for this reason that I appreciate Elon's announcement to support myself and many others, who've experienced significant setbacks in their lives because of their activities on this platform.

So, thank you, Elon, for your support, and a big thank you to all my followers who have stood by me during these difficult times. A very special thank you is owed to my incredible lawyer @belawed, tirelessly battling for my rights.

By the way, I still have not heard back from David Fisman, who now calls himself David CisMan (you really couldn't make this up!). Despite his daily propagation of misinformation, which likely led many to lose their lives and livelihoods, he retains his position at his university. Academia is dead!

Being critical towards Covid and confronting those who discriminated against the unvaccinated with their OWN tweets is not a crime. I am now taking @SINTEF to court and I'm extremely happy to see that @X will support my case.
