@renier_north @News24 @TammyPetersen87 May have a lot to do with implicit vs explicit memory. Also, trauma is very complex esp when of a sexual nature - shame, guilt, disgust are but the tip of the iceberg. Good on the victim for bringing the abuser to justice - it's incredibly brave.
