@renier_north @News24@TammyPetersen87 May have a lot to do with implicit vs explicit memory. Also, trauma is very complex esp when of a sexual nature - shame, guilt, disgust are but the tip of the iceberg. Good on the victim for bringing the abuser to justice - it's incredibly brave.
Will Smith saying he wants to be a vessel for love fifteen minutes after hitting a guy live on international TV and then getting a standing ovation is just an incredible summation of what Hollywood’s all about.
When someone’s on social but hasn’t texted you back, they’re often not trying to be rude - they just lack the emotional energy for 1:1 conversation at that moment, & our #1 way to cope happens to be public (social).
