Finally, finally, finally making progress with this manuscript. Sure, I'll probably need another draft or two after this rewrite, but...trust the process?
To be fair, I’ve working 50+ hr weeks and don’t have the energy to write after work. I do know I’ll finish this draft (I’ll carve out time on weekends). But still.
Today I’m trying to tell myself it’s okay I’ve only written 10K of this WiP. It helps that I do love this draft so far and I’m excited about the characters. But usually I’m faster at drafting.
I follow a lot of horse and real estate groups on FB, and today I mistakenly read house as horse and almost responded “oh, yeah, you can definitely find a horse for 300K.” (Yes, people who are not me do spend that much and more on a horse)
Introducing Romeo’s Tragedy. He was not the fastest racehorse, but we are hoping he’ll enjoy his new career as a hunter for my teen and a sometimes trail horse for me.
