How exciting!! I’m SO proud of this brilliant, inventive, & creative organisation - still can’t believe how lucky I am to work here, & to play a tiny part in enabling the fabulous work that’s created in this beautiful corner of Berkshire to reach audiences from around the world.
Well, this is the loveliest news… We’re absolutely delighted to be nominated for Theatre of the Year in @TheStage Awards!
One year on from a 100% cut to our Arts Council funding, we’re so proud of what we’ve achieved this year, and so thankful for our amazing audiences, supporters, casts, creatives, and staff team who have spent the last year helping us remain The Watermill that everyone knows and loves.
Congratulations to the other nominees, we’re in fabulous company.
We’re passionate about ensuring every young person can enjoy the arts.
That’s why, when you buy a ticket from us, you’ll have the opportunity to ‘pay it forwards’, helping a disadvantaged young person come and see The Wizard of Oz!
Every pound donated will be matched.
Our Casting Assistant Cyd is looking for a superstar Toto!
Tag us in pics of your best furry friends, to win two tickets to our magical version of The Wizard of Oz this Christmas!
Entries close 8pm, Sun 5 November.
The Watermill and Reading Rep Theatre are joining forces!
We’re both committed to welcoming deaf audiences and creatives to our theatres.
We’ll be hosting events at both our venues, to get to know our local deaf community better, and provide an opportunity for BSL learners.
My first summer at @WatermillTh has been truly magical ❤️💔
An emotional goodbye to The Lord of the Rings this weekend, but my goodness, how lucky am I to work at this incredible, special place?!
Since The Lord of the Rings sailed to the Undying Lands, our office has had a Gandalf shaped hole 🧙♂️
Pulling such a special show together took a whole Shire, and each of us has loved it.
So tears, yes, but definitely memories. We thought we’d share some of them with you ✨
@WatermillTh in Newbury, England, is looking for a Development Officer who will work to maximise fundraising income.

@MadDnDTeacher Oh no! I have it for the first time too currently. My advice - rest more than you think you need. I felt a bit better yesterday, did a couple of bits around the house and feel horrendous today. Hope it doesn’t hit you too hard.
@CrazyMuseumMum And stick notes all around your screen 😂 I find it’s harder to build a rapport online, but just smile, breathe and be yourself. You’ve got this! 😃
@CrazyMuseumMum Be prepared - I had to do a presentation for my last interview - on a whim I emailed a copy to the panel in advance “just in case” - on the day Teams wouldn’t share my presentation 😱 Think I scored some bonus points for preparation, and got the job! 😂🤷♀️
