Draymond Green says he understands the criticizing of Chet Holmgren, but acting like he’s a bum and should be traded is ridiculous:
“It’s the exact way that franchises set themselves back and never grow. It’s the exact reason that so many franchises don’t have the ultimate success because most franchises actually panic and do what everyone’s saying they should do which is oh man we got to trade Chet right now, man Chet was just second in defensive player of the year voting, All-Defense first team, All-NBA third team, Allstar and he have a bad playoff series and everybody like time to trade him.”

If you’ve been following me on other platforms you’ll know I showed how in sports the way to go viral isn’t telling the truth, or awesome breakdowns, to truly get clicks the fast way, you cater to people’s hate and constant want to be correct. This isn’t a shot at Jay, but this is the perfect example and I’ve proven this over on all forms of social media. U don’t build trust with ur audience or many things that can be monetized, but in terms of building a platform that u can sell later, this is a strategy that social media is built on
Draymond Green says sports media fu*king sucks:
“No one talks basketball anymore. But no one knows basketball anymore because the sh*t is just moving too fast. Huh? Everything’s moving too fast. And so we want to pinpoint the thing that we can slow down. Shai falling. Shai at the free throw line. Everybody’s complaining about Shai getting too many foul calls. And going into game 6, Shai had shot five more free throws on the series than Wemby. But the whole complaint is Shai getting too many foul calls. I don’t understand it.”

@RondoHive@REALFLYGUYGBG@alexinsix They also don’t have the same difficulty in shot diet as sga as well. And there’s multiple players who fall on shots just like sga but they don’t win shit so yall don’t complain about them.
"Does [Shai] sell calls sometimes? Absolutely, but so do 287 other players in the NBA sell calls... When they weren't a championship contender... nobody was complaining. They're complaining now because they're winning."

I wish folks would do more deep dives into why a player is good vs coming up with NBA comps.
Acuff is interesting b/c I dont think his handle is extremely advanced, nor is he explosive or a real creative passer - but he has four micro-skills that stand out as absolutely elite!
