@MalotteMartin@WarshipCam In the worst case, is it easier to produce more Aster missiles or to upgrade a frigate to fit additional cells.
If threat levels are low, a partial missile load (e.g. 48/64) may be an acceptable risk.
Even though low intensity theatres like the Red Sea might suggest otherwise.

At 8:25 Trappier talks to a FAZ journalist during Dassault’s Q2 FAQ.
When asked about cooperation with Airbus DS he’s clearly saying 50:50 « cinquante - cinquante » and not about 55% « cinquante-cinq » (9:18).
@j_2ross For Europe, a renewed involvement in Aspides (EUNAVFOR) could be a desirable and achievable objective.
It should secure purely European shipping and shipping interest from Iran proxy attacks that can be expanded to NATO or local allies if they make contributions.

@j_2ross The 🇺🇸 effectively failed to coordinate limited operations like:
• controlling arms supplies to Huthi or manufacturing by Huthi rebels
• limited mine clearance
• local air defence or ground surveillance operations
• coordinating allied convoy protection in the Red Sea.

The Houthis are gearing up for potential anti ship missile launches, releasing footage that appears to show their Asef anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) as they continue to threaten commercial shipping linked to Saudi Arabia.
The missile shown is estimated to be around 10 meters long and is distinguished by its prominent tail fins. Its design closely resembles Iran's Khalij Fars, an anti-ship variant of the Fateh 110 and Fateh 313 family of ballistic missiles.
The Asef ASBM is reported to have a range of up to 500 kilometers, or about 270 nautical miles, and is designed to strike moving maritime targets. It is also believed to carry a warhead weighing around 380 kilograms, although some sources suggest it may be capable of carrying a larger payload.

🚨 The prototypes will undergo testing in Ukraine in order to receive the “combat-proven” label, before the French Army receives the first system.

@XaverMaerz@ClaireMartel47 Who was providing aerial refuelling for 🇩🇰 in order to generate sorties over 🇬🇱 when 🇺🇸 pressure for a hostile takeover of danish sovereign land was at its highest?
🇫🇷🇩🇰🇬🇱 Nouveau convoyage de F-35 danois, en direction du Groenland, encore assuré par un A330 MRTT 🇫🇷

"Raytheon is preparing a rapid production restart for the MALD decoy..Raytheon has spent the past two years strengthening MALD through internally funded research and development to improve its reliability, qualify airframes made with additive manufacturing and develop new payloads for a wider range of missions. Raytheon’s production line for MALD remains warm, meaning all major tooling and test equipment is ready for use." ~ RTX
@vonderburchard Have you see AfD poling recently?
The bigger danger is that any information gained of 🇫🇷 capabilities is sent directly to Moscow.
If anything SPD still is a Trojan horse with large parts of the old guard sympathetic towards 🇷🇺.
