It really is PERFECT that several elite economists just spent several weeks debating - with detailed data/charts/analysis/etc - US/EU wealth & living standards, & then a bunch of goofy European tourists simply tweeted abt a Texan gas station & settled the debate in 30 seconds 🤣
“In the aftermath of the outbreak, the Air Force issued an exception to the voluntary vaccine policy, requiring that all recruits at Lackland AFB get flu shots.”
The second half was a little janky, but the first half was the game I have been waiting for from the USMNT since I started watching them in 1990. Ball control. Impeccable passing. A ruthless closer in Balogun. And Pulisic being the engine that made everything go. Get hyped.
@Kevin_Fed16 Once Congress has declared war there’s no doubt that the pres directs the military as he pleases. But the Const couldn’t be more clear that the pres needs step 1 before going on to step 2. If the pres says 1 part of the Const is irrelevant, why not all of it?
@Phillyvol85@DavidAFrench I’d rather risk that than continue the complete abdication of Congress’ role in government. There are trade-offs for everything, and a war for regime change in a foreign country is not worth the continued depletion of Congressional power in ours.
Under App Store bills such as Texas’ SB2420, developers would be forced to rate their apps using state-mandated age categories and justify EVERY rating. That’s not protection. That’s government overreach and a clear violation of the #FirstAmendment. 1/2
@Kevin_Fed16 Divisive is more open to argument, but consequential? No chance. I would say George W was easily more consequential in my lifetime. To say nothing of FDR, Lincoln, or Washington, or Wilson outside of my lifetime.
