Meaning that this week is my last on the US desk at @NationalDefence. It's been an honor to strengthen our relationship with our closest ally during this unprecedented time. I want to thank all of my 🇺🇸counterparts for working so collaboratively despite recent political noise.

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be joining the Commander of the @RCAF_ARC team as her strategic policy advisor. I am looking forward to advancing RCAF priorities and learning from them with the great work ahead.

It's a wrap for the 242 PJBD. My personal second, which made me eligible to receive its famous coin.

We welcomed 20 US Officials from the DoD. Took a lot of work to get there.

Great conversations on what we've accomplished, and what is to come in the coming years.

Had a good old time running the @OttawaRaceWknd Half Marathon last weekend.

The energy was incredible, with over 9000 people in the race!

As we reflect on and highlight the amazing contributions of women today, I do want to amplify what I've heard about the love-hate relationship of this day.

It's tricky, because there is something that competent people hate about being singled out for part of their identity. 1/3

Especially when some have deliberately minimized that part of their identity in order to ensure their competence is recognized.
