Our beloved eternal Triune God—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—purposed to gather for Himself a celestial Family, redeemed at the immeasurable cost of our beloved Lord Jesus.
This reminds us how precious family is in the heart of God. When He blesses us with many family members, let us never take one another for granted. Cherish every precious moment. Give generously of our time, attention and love.
At our family summer gatherings, we study the Bible together, feast together, enjoy family cooking competitions, laugh together and sing praises to our beloved Lord Jesus. Generations gather around the same table, under the same Word, worshipping the same Saviour.
This is surely a taste of the abundant life Lord Jesus promised us—the joy of fellowship, the sweetness of His presence and the wisdom of His Word.
Our earthly family gathered around Christ is a beautiful foretaste of our eternal celestial Family, when one day we shall gather around His throne—where love will never grow cold, our songs will never cease, and our beloved Lord Jesus will forever be in our midst.
Cherish our family.
Cherish these moments. Cherish Christ always.
When Christ is the centre, our families unite,
A foretaste of Heaven, where love is our light.
“Growth in size must always be accompanied by depth in values.” "You Have Zero Input in Your BEING, But 100% Input in Your MEANING." “Your life is like a blank canvas — you can splash chaos or paint purposefully.” "Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, but only by lack of meaning and purpose." “That is why our core value — "Building the Right Thing" — begins not in corporate strategy, but in every individual precious soul in YTL.” - Tan Sri (Sir) Francis Yeoh Speech by Tan Sri (Sir) Francis Yeoh, Executive Chairman Of YTL Group

Val D’lsere is beautiful.
The Providence of God gives us comfort and peace.God’s love strengthens us, the love of our family sweetens us, the homes He provides shelters us, the clothes He provides warm us, the food He provides nourishes us. All glory to our beloved Lord Jesus.
It is so joyful to be celebrating the marriage of my beloved nephew Hann to beautiful Valarie. My son Jacob and I were honored to be given the privilege to say grace. Both of us point to the importance of marriage as a sacred union of two of God's creations a male and a female. Our very existence came about because our beloved Abba Father God wanted a celestial family.
God wanted more children and these chosen children ( the church) to become the bride to His one and only beloved Son, Lord Jesus.
It is no wonder that we are reminded that our Lord Jesus's very first miracle was to turn water into the best wine in the wedding in Cana. We are also reminded that in Revelations of the marriage supper of the Lamb: "Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb."
In Genesis, God put Adam into a deep sleep and Eve was created out of Him to be his bride.
In the Gospels, God put our Lord Jesus into a deep sleep on the cross and in His resurrection the chosen children of God, His church was created to be His bride.
It is good to be reminded that God took a rib from Adam to create Eve. Taking the rib from the side was intentional and symbolic.
“Women were created from the rib of man to be beside him, not from his head to top him, nor from his feet to be trampled by him, but from under his arm to be protected by him but near to his heart to be loved by him.”
Marriage between a male and female is holy and sacred. Any attempt to redefine it other than what God ordained is an abomination.
In 1985, I purchased a Malaysian tropical island full of monkeys. 30 years later in 2015 my beloved father purchased Monkey Island in England without a single monkey!
It is a picturesque island in the River Thames in the historic village of Bray, Berkshire. It is centuries old, and has been the haunt of monarchs, aristocrats and and literati, now home to one of the finest hotels in Bray.
It was originally commissioned as a fishing retreat in 1723 by the third Duke of Marlborough. Visitors included monarchs, Edward VII enjoying afternoon tea under the walnut trees.
Sir Edward Elgar worked on his First Symphony Violin Concerto in The Hut, a house on the adjacent bank. Famous literary visitors included WW I poet Siegfried Sassoon, and H.G Wells. Following YTL Hotels' ownership and expert renovation by the award-winning New York-based Champalimaud Design. the new luxury hotel has reopened its doors.
My family was there for a memorial diner for my late father who loved this island.
We planted some trees for future generations to appreciate. We are blessed to have stewardship over this seven acre island. The island today continues to attract Monarchs, Prime Ministers, Royalties, the literati and celebrities.
Every Easter we take a week off to meditate on the goodness of God.
The Bible is Multum in Parvo”, so much substance, packed in so few words. It is the most hyperlinked book: verses in the bible has 65,000 cross references!
All glory to our beloved Triune God!
In crowning King Charles lll, Christ is glorified.
The orb under the cross is subject to the Power of Christ.
The Sceptre reminds the King to execute justice with mercy.
The anointing with oil reminds the King to be robed in Christ’s Righteousness,to reign in humility.
YTL's Niseko Village Ski Resort is within a radius of 7 hours flight from most Asian capitals where the most well heeled reside.
The reliability of winter powder snow is off piste skiing paradise. Fresh seafood, great chefs, hot spring spas(onsens), what is there not to love!
Daily feasting on God’s words and books by Jonathan Edwards, C S Lewis, Francis Schaeffer, John Lennox and others. Truly nourishing food for my soul. Body well fed by too. Sharing quality time with beloved family members every summer are truly heavenly sweet God blessed moments!
What joy to see the marriage of my beautiful brainy niece Pei Teeng to cool character Chris. The wedding reminds us why God created us. He wanted more children and a beautiful bride, the Church, for His Son, our beloved Lord Jesus.
On Christmas Day, we beheld the glory of Lord Jesus. The Old Testament anticipates Him, the Gospels reveal Him, in the Acts, He is preached, in the Epistles He is explained.
So the Old Testament is the
New Testament concealed and the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.
The paradise island resort of Pangkor Laut is the genesis of YTL Hotels which now owns 5000 rooms through the globe. It opened its door to guests in 1985! My late friend Luciano Pavarotti loved this paradise and sang for us twice.
The chances of anyone being born in this world is
1:400 trillion! The chances of Lord Jesus being born in Bethlehem and fulfilling all 350 prophecies in the Old Testament is infinitely more. So, do live when you have life to live, and do love when you have love to give!
As a Christian, long term thinking is not strange as we have a perspective of eternal life. Life is too short to waste a single moment but long enough to fulfill God’s purpose for us.
Our short live here teaches us the value of time and our time here teaches us the value of life.
Welcoming Matteus.
Matteus means a gift of God. Proverbs 17:6
“Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children.”
Parents are proud of their children always but grandparents are always proud of them both.
All glory to Lord Jesus!
At Easter, rings engraved ΙϹ ΧϹ NI KA were distributed. With this victory, a whole new way of life opens, the death of Christ becomes the death of our old self, a joyful relationship with the living Christ replaces rules. The freedom to do good works replaces the bondage of law.
Today ends the Chinese New Year’s 2 weeks of feasting. We are also 2 weeks into Lent that is more associated with fasting.
We pray to our Lord Jesus that the lives and livelihoods of many who suffered last year be healed and restored this coming year.
There is power in the word of God. Zechariah 4:10 : “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin...” YTL listed in the KLSE in 1986, we had total assets of USD20m. Today we are blessed with global assets of USD20b. This is a miraculous!
A joy to rest in our island of Pangkor Laut. Pavarotti said “I almost cried, when I see how beautiful God made this island”. Romans 1:20 “ God's invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen from what has been made, so we are without excuse."
Praise Lord Jesus for blessing me with my tenth grandchild, Elijah, which means ‘Yahweh is my God’. What joy he brings to the whole family! Prophet Isaiah reminds us, our children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of our children. Heaven on Earth moment!
