On Friday, January 5th, Mayor Frank Nunziato was sworn in for his second term as Mayor, Council President Stephanie McGowan was sworn in for her fourth term as Councilwoman and Councilman Matt Cokeley was sworn in for his second term.

Earlier this week, the DPW planted a spruce tree which will be Rutherford's official Holiday Tree starting in 2024.
It will not be decorated this season so that it can acclimate to the soil & not be disturbed.
This year's tree lighting will remain at the Public Library on Nov 25.
