How can burning trash be considered clean? This became a reality in 2011 after Maryland legislators placed incineration in the state's clean energy program that includes solar and wind turbine power. This is why our tax dollars contribute to the wealth of incineration that causes toxic air pollution. Join us to learn more about this issue, hear stories of the folks most impacted, and get in on our plan to stop incineration from being classified as "clean" on Thursday, November 16th, from 6:15-7:45p, at Enoch Pratt Library Brooklyn Branch (300 E Patapsco Ave, Baltimore, MD 21225).

Zero-waste is what Baltimore needs, what Baltimore residents want! There cannot be real recycling and composting goals as long as we have that trash burning incinerator.
