@egerag@SmallerFishGAA “Most hurling people” might be stretching it, maybe locally in Galway. It’s a very competitive championship and great to watch. They’re a generational side, and I’d say this group could win a few galway champs. Their closest scoring game this year was the waterford county semi.
@PlayerGaelic My view, I think the balance of scores is generally good. When a goal is on, players usually go for it, score change wouldn’t make things more exciting. If anything, the rule on taking a player down for a scoring opportunity to club level might be the only tweak worth considering
Over 80,000 people tuned into the live audio stream of @Armagh_GAA vs. @Doiregaa clearly a game with strong demand. Meanwhile,
GAA+ charges €12 per game, a potential €960,000 in lost revenue.
@officialgaa drops the ball! Clearly missed opportunity
This is what the Leitrim manager had to say about Waterford a few years back. So you can see what kind of respect he has got for the underdog. Everything comes back to haunt someone like this.
Tight contest but Ballygunner come out on top. Never looked like losing. Doon played on the edge, but Ballygunner proved they can handle the physical side if needed. That short passing game does cause some nervy moments though! #GAA
