@jakegallen @artbro_eth @NFTmachine Competent art investors seek out stability. To know that 5, 10, 20, 50 years down the line, that piece’s value will remain the same... relative to similar pieces in collection.
@jakegallen @artbro_eth @NFTmachine I have no dog in this fight. Strictly speaking from perspective of art collectors considering spending 5K- 100K on a piece (and not wishing to add desired wearables).
Time/market sales will be the best judge...hopefully ultra-premiums will see minimal multiplier reduction
@jakegallen @artbro_eth @NFTmachine 72 hours in, that seems to be the case. Steady purchases of floors and near floors, but significant reduction in premium sales above 1 eth. I’m at peace if trend continues, circle back in a month in guess.
@jakegallen @artbro_eth @NFTmachine Art collectors (high $ investors) need certainty that a premium piece will retain its value relative to entire collection. That’s no longer guaranteed, but hopefully it is just small decrease in multipliers for ultra-premiums. Floors and near floors should be fine.
@jakegallen @artbro_eth @NFTmachine It probably will increase their value if they have wearables, hopefully that doesn’t lower the multiplier’s of super premium and very low mints too much...some % loss seems very likely there.
