Everyone has an idol. My sports idol has always been Tiger Woods. Today I got to watch him play, in person, and gave him a high five. You are the reason I started and continue to love golf. Thank you @TigerWoods for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of meeting you.
Karmelo Anthony’s supporters are now threatening to riot and burn down cities after he was found guilty.
Riots for what?
Do y’all think it’s okay for a Black person to kill a white person with no consequences?
That is racist.
Somebody lost their son. Somebody lost their child. Austin Metcalf is never coming home.
The only people who should be angry, sad, heartbroken, and devastated right now are Austin Metcalf’s parents.
They lost their son.
This should have never been turned into a race issue. It was not about Black versus white.
Wrong is wrong.
You do not get to stab somebody to death and then have people threaten to riot because justice was served.
Karmelo Anthony was found guilty.
Justice was served.
We have lost our minds.
A jury convicted Karmelo Anthony of murder for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death. Evidence was presented. Witnesses testified. Self-defense was rejected. He got 35 years.
That’s not a “legal lynching.” That’s justice.
Crying racism because the killer is Black and the victim was White doesn’t change the facts: actions have consequences.
Austin is dead. His family grieves. The system worked.
Stop excusing violence.

I practice law in Collin County, Texas.
Karmelo Anthony will be convicted and sentenced to life in prison.
As he should.
He murdered that boy because he was raised to hate white people and to view himself as a victim in every situation.
It’s a culture thing.
NEWS: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.
The black coach of the track team, Rob Starr, testified against Karmelo Anthony today.
And 4 out of the 6 teammates testifying against him were black.
Karmelo is cooked, despite your attempt to make it racial narcissism.
I don't care if you don't like Saban because he had Alabama running the sport for a decade.
I don't care if you think what he's saying is hypocritical.
If you actually believe that $40 million a year for rosters (which is only growing) is actually sustainable, let me know why
I am for players being paid due to the large revenues, but there needs to be a pay scale. This has only made the richest programs more successful. Not to mention every coach has to then re-recruit their players every year or they go to the next highest bidder.
I don’t understand how you can be not supportive of what he’s fighting for.
1. NIL has undoubtedly made college sports worse off for than fan viewership
2. NIL is forcing universities into large deficits if they want to compete
3. The current landscape is equal NFL free agency

Joy Reid's entire career is built on a lie: that everything in America is about race.
I represent a majority-white district in suburban Houston. President Trump would have won it by 20 points.
I won it by 27.
Why?
Because voters judged me by my service, my values, and my record, not the color of my skin.
None of that has anything to do with race.
And that's what race-baiters like Joy Reid cannot stand.
Her worldview depends on minorities being victims, conservatives being villains, and America being irredeemably racist.
Here’s Bernie six years ago claiming that humanity only had about six years left to stop the existential threat of climate change.
All we had to do to save the planet was pass his $30 trillion Green New Deal. 😂
“You can give every low-income black American a $50,000 ‘reparations’ check—and it’s not going to fix anything. It’s not going to increase the median household income in ten years.
We had the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882—basically put them under apartheid here in the United States. Yet they now have the highest median household income. How is that possible? How come they don’t complain and feel consistently entitled to demand reparations?”
A reminder for @RepJeffries:
1) DHS doesn’t make the laws, Congress does. We don’t pick and choose which laws to enforce—and neither should you as a “lawmaker.”
2) It is a crime to enter the United States illegally. EVERYONE being held inside Delaney Hall broke the law.
U.S. Code, Title 8, Section 1325.
This is a detention center — we do not provide luxury accommodations. What we do provide are basic necessities like beds, clean water, comprehensive healthcare, and 3 meals a day until they go HOME.
If you come to our country illegally, we will find you and arrest you. We encourage ALL illegal aliens to self-deport today: https://t.co/3aZlQ6TZGZ

NEW: Indiana's Curt Cignetti says College Football is in danger if something doesn't change soon:
“The market is pretty expensive — it’s scary. It’s scary. I think players should get paid. But something’s going to have to be done in the next 12 to 24 months, or universities might not be able to handle this. College football won’t exist the way we’re going right now.”
