The only people who should be angry, sad, heartbroken, and devastated right now are Austin Metcalf’s parents.

This should have never been turned into a race issue. It was not about Black versus white.

You do not get to stab somebody to death and then have people threaten to riot because justice was served.

Karmelo Anthony was found guilty.

A jury convicted Karmelo Anthony of murder for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death. Evidence was presented. Witnesses testified. Self-defense was rejected. He got 35 years.
That’s not a “legal lynching.” That’s justice.

Crying racism because the killer is Black and the victim was White doesn’t change the facts: actions have consequences.
Austin is dead. His family grieves. The system worked.

Stop excusing violence.

I am for players being paid due to the large revenues, but there needs to be a pay scale. This has only made the richest programs more successful. Not to mention every coach has to then re-recruit their players every year or they go to the next highest bidder.
