@SadClubCommish Listening to your Brian Burke story today reminded me of when I was 10 and I wrote to Trevor Linden expressing my concern about his contract dispute with the Canucks in '95. TL called me at home and I was so shocked it rendered me speechless. Pretty sure TL was excpecting more from me given the wordy letter! As you say, a different era. But a gesture like that means so much to a young impressionable lad.
