For the first time this publicly, I shared this weekend a snapshot of the bullying I’ve experienced in my life & how my dad kicked me out as a teen for being gay. Hoping to inspire folks to watch their words, especially to their children. It’s long but sharing here (thread):
NEW: Larry Ellison's trust gave $1 million to the super PAC backing GOP Sen. Darline Graham.
She now says we must accelerate data center construction to beat China.
Tyson closed a beef manufacturing plant in Lexington, Nebraska, this year.
“6% of the nation’s beef came out of that plant.”
“And Tyson just closed it.”
“Putting 3,500 Nebraskans out of jobs.”
Bookmark this.
Nebraska Senate candidate Dan Osborn just sounded the alarm.
Tyson’s plant closure in Lexington reveals the damage that corporate monopolization in our food industry can do to rural America.
“There are four meatpackers that have formed a monopoly.”
“They work with the other ones.”
“They target plants that are going to close down to manipulate… what they pay, from the producers all the way to what we pay at the grocery store.”
“And this beef deal adds to the already problematic crisis of a thinning herd.”
“We got to break up the meatpackers to create an environment that has competition.”
We have been warning that President Trump’s beef import policy is a bad deal for both American ranchers and consumers.
Flooding our market with imported beef undercuts domestic ranchers, many of whom are already struggling to keep their operations alive.
And it is not meaningfully reducing prices for consumers.
The only ones who benefit from this policy are multinational corporations, like JBS, who pocket all of the profits.
We published a seven-point plan backed by ranchers, not corporations, to meaningfully reduce beef prices, restore our domestic cattle herd, and save ranchers.
Read it below and send it to your members of Congress:🧵

Trump: "Cuba is a beautiful island with great weather. I'd be honored to take Cuba, whether I liberate it or annex it. I think I can do whatever I want with it, if you want to know the truth."
The Trump administration’s cuts to weather satellites will set the country back nearly a decade, experts say. The loss of data used to observe, forecast and research extreme weather could prevent the US from making major advances in weather prediction in the coming years. https://t.co/V01eAyLLK0

BREAKING: Donald Trump is now considering a new attack plan directed at the nerve center of Iran's oil industry, with the U.S. president discussing options with senior advisers, Pentagon officials and the CIA to strike Kharg Island — the terminal handling roughly 90% of Iran's crude exports and holding about 30 million barrels in storage capacity, per a UAE-based Erem News report cited by Israel Hayom.
The proposed options include strikes on oil tanks, pipelines, tanker loading facilities and military sites on the island, aimed at forcing Tehran to abandon its preconditions and accept negotiations on the nuclear program and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz before the November 3 midterms.
Kharg is the single point through which nearly all of Iran's oil revenue flows. If Washington strikes it, the war stops being about the Strait of Hormuz and becomes about cutting Iran's economic lifeline entirely — and Iran has already promised to burn the Gulf's energy infrastructure in return.
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf already warned : "If our security is not ensured, no infrastructure will be safe," and "in a region where Iran cannot sell oil, nobody will sell oil.”
BREAKING: Iran has now issued a deadly warning to the Middle East.
Iran will no longer allow the UAE and other Gulf countries to assist Nvidia, Google, Apple, Microsoft, OpenAI, or other AI and data companies.
Any financial, land or energy resources provided to AI and data companies will be met with deadly consequences.
Ghalibaf's exact words: The Persian Gulf Data Authority is coming. To governments in the region, you are advised to provide no resources to any AI or data company again. Assist them and face our enforcement.
In simple English, Iran has demanded that the Middle East completely abandon every single project involving Microsoft, Google and Apple.
Otherwise, the IRGC could be forced to launch a bombing campaign against non compliant countries.
This means the UAE'S Stargate project will most likely get them bombed.
Iran's new restrictions could completely cripple the UAE and Saudi.
They could lose tens of billions of dollars.
Their oil exports and tourism are already taking devastating hits.
During the 12 day war, the US dropped a 14 ton bomb on Iran.
It failed to work.
Iran has analyzed the bomb's components, alloys and electronics.
Iran now possesses the technology.
They have announced the father of Iran's missiles is ready to fire.
Data centers of Amazon, Google and Microsoft are now under serious threat.
This is leading to a total disaster.
BREAKING: US Embassies across the entire Middle East, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, the UAE, Yemen and Iran have all just issued new security alerts, warning all Americans of severe flight cancellations, airspace closures and travel disruptions amid risk of sudden escalation in Yemen and Iran.
The alert warns that the situation has "the potential to escalate rapidly beyond that immediate area."
