@nielsonTSN1260 Just a thought - I mean we all loved the 4Nations last year and the Olympics this year… but it burns out the star players. Injuries, fatigue. I know you have to grow the game and everyone wants a chance to represent their country but they are signed for big dollar contracts?

@JasonGregor All true. I’d add no emotion. Last game McDavid scores and instead of getting the boys fired up and making a game of it - they do this tap the pads nice goal like they were down 5-1. Knoblauch should have been screaming after the OT goal tonight. Nope - just better luck next time

2) Defense has to not take those risky pinches in the 3rd period - only down a goal- don’t have to sell out to be down 2 in 40 seconds
3) Have to want it more - just seem to be a step behind, giving up man in front.

@nielsonTSN1260 Panthers got the first goal and got their mojo back. Their defense game tonight was superb. Give the Oilers credit - I wrote them off after game 3. It was a great accomplishment to get to game 7. If they could have got game 1 I think the outcome is different. 2 matched teams.

@nielsonTSN1260 Oilers getting out worked on the boards. Draisaitl was not his dominant self. Bouchard needs to be stronger on the puck - maybe increased minutes affected him. Florida was the better team - needed to win game 1. Oilers might get a game at home but sadly this run is over
