We've now seen:
-3 polls showing Trump's disapproval on inflation at 80%+
-4 polls showing at least half of *Republicans* disapprove of him on that issue
-1 poll showing even 29% of MAGA disapproves.
This is extremely rare historical territory.

3. A new requirement in computational thinking will likely be added to the core.
This was the NYT's tweet at 6:08 am, when the news was breaking and they had no details. It's currently leading the site with more details, because... they reported and got more details.
We went through this when people were FURIOUS with headlines about how Trump was taken offstage when shots were heard in Butler... because the reporters didn't immediately say what they confirmed five minutes later.
New: Trump bought taxpayer-funded ads promoting himself on CNN and MS NOW even as he fought to ban the cable news outlets from the White House.

Trump: Kim Jong Un is a friend of mine. He likes Trump. Doesn't like a lot of other people.
I'm the only person in the entire world that he likes. And I like him.

An under-noticed corollary is that in Paxton’s first two statewides, Texas had straight-ticket voting. It no longer does. Paxton benefited from being a generic, replacement-level Republican. It’s different from having to affirmatively mark his name — and at the very top of the ticket, no less.
It took a little longer than expected (8 months vs. a few days) but the US has finally erected a system for moving oil out of Hormuz in the face of the Iranian blockade.
Moving average for regional flows is now (conservatively) 15-16m bpd, and still rising. https://t.co/FPvOXpYP4F
"If I have a really off-the-wall crazy NatCon, who claims the election was stolen in 2020, I don't have to vote for that guy. Just leave it blank. I don't have to vote for the liberal Democrat either." —@RepDonBacon

Can you imagine looking the the current state of profligacy in Washington, DC, and the actual math of the country's finances -- and pointing to Donald Trump as a champion of fiscal restraint?
Unserious.
Russia is a terror-state. Maybe the U.S. government should start treating it as such instead of kissing the backside of Putin over and over again. Put America on the side of decency, freedom, and civilization.
Iran Striking Out Against the West? Mike Nelson, a retired Army Special Forces officer and member of the Atlantic Council's Counterterrorims Project, writes about how a foiled attack on a British air base suggests Tehran is willing to strike far beyond the Middle East.
