LSA at Nottingham College, fired for informing a child's mother that her daughter was being socially transitioned and the college was keeping it secret from her
I'm suing Nottingham College after they fired me for informing a parent the college was “socially transitioning” her child and hiding it from her. The case raises important issues about Safeguarding and Parental Responsibility. Support it at https://t.co/EWvfBnz7uT
@KaskaJessica It does not. It restricts the revelation of the fact that a person has a GRC to certain circumstances, but it doesn't outright forbid even that. Asking a persons's sex is nowhere forbidden in that Act or any other, outside of the usual Data Protection concerns about Personal Data
@DivineEast The problem with an Appeal to Authority is that the Authority has to be reputable and trusted in a way that the Lemkin Institute is not. Why not use the Genocide Convention's definition of genocide? Perhaps because it would show that no "trans genocide" is taking place?
@JoolsJuevans I reported them to the Certification Officer over their unlawfully allowing a man to stand for election to a woman's reserved post. Should be heard this month.

1/10 The long-awaited publication of the EHRC Guidance coincided with another bringing partial resolution connected to it that involves me and UNISON. Just after the SC ruling last April, UNISON held an election for a reserved women’s post and, allowed a (trans-ID) man to run for
@Monaghan1945@SeekingGrace21@Hudie_EU@grok In the US, then. There are around 11,000 murders a year in the USA. 13/11,000 = less than 0.12%. I think the number of trans-ID people in the USA is 0.5%, hence it seems they're 4 times safer than the rest of the US population.
@eleonorasfalcon@WomenOScotland@irishgall77@KirstieMAllsopp Closer to "'transwomen' are men". Or "the poportion of trans -ID men in prison for sexual assault is over 4 times the rest of the male population". Facts. Like "Israel is a genocidal apartheid state" Like TRAs, it upsets you so much because you KNOW, on some level, that it's true
@eleonorasfalcon@WomenOScotland@irishgall77@KirstieMAllsopp It does. Murder or destruction of a people in whole or part, as the Genocide Convention says.
Israel is a racist apartheid state currently committing genocide. It is the shame of this country that we're supporting them. And your shame that you support genocide.
@eleonorasfalcon@WomenOScotland@irishgall77@KirstieMAllsopp They would be infinitely more better off than they are currently, being murdered by a racist, apartheid, genocidal state. They would, at least, be free from mass murder and genocide. And that's taking yr assumptions at face value, for the sake of argument. They're not, of course
@eleonorasfalcon@WomenOScotland@irishgall77@KirstieMAllsopp No. The subsequent 2 and a half years of indiscriminate murder murdered over 70 times as many men, women and children because of their ethnicity/religion. And that genocide is ongoing.
@BettsCaro It's hard to avoid a certain Schadenfreude or criticising him for supporting the Face-Eating Leopards Party (because they'll never eat his face). But, yes, I agree. Despite the fact that he'd never return the favour, we should support a man being attacked by TRAs
@TracyEdwardsMBE@unisontheunion@SpeechUnion I understand the sentiment, but @SpeechUnion isn't a Union, despite the name. They're not going to be negotiating pay increases or supporting workers in Disciplinary cases or Grievances outside of Free Speech issues, nor could they if they tried. What we need is a GC Union.
@CenobiteAQ Not hard. But difficult, emotionally. I loved the Sandman by Neil Gaiman and Buffy by Joss Whedon. They had huge effects on me. How do I deal with the recent revelations about these people? It's not easy to separate the Art from the Artist.
@eleonorasfalcon@WomenOScotland@irishgall77@KirstieMAllsopp Whilst it's possible to see that compromise is possible on trans issues - and true that TRAs refuse to even contemplate this - you CAN'T compromise on genocide. And you certainly shouldn't. Should we have compromised with the Nazis on the Holocaust?

@DonkinFaith@CopperCation@unisontheunion He wasn't elected. I should know as I complained about it to the Certification Officer and UNISON tried to dismiss it on those grounds, saying it's "Academic" as he wasn't elected.

@CopperCation@unisontheunion I made a complaint to the Certification Officer about the bloke in the third photo standing for a woman's seat. It should be heard this June. Whilst I don't need money for that, but (shamelsss plug) you could support my OTHER case: https://t.co/EWvfBnz7uT
@SueDefiant67@FondOfBeetles@rarestbarbie@dilanesper Yeah. That Labour MP saying she didn't know what her chromosomes were - if she'd had a DSD, it would have become obvious at puberty (with the absence of menarche). She has XX chromosomes, and either knows that or is incredibly stupid. Honestly not sure which.
