Event for the @OCISOxford and @HSMOxford exhibition "Lines of Faith: Astronomy and the Art of the Astrolabe in the Islamic World": Joumana Medlej @joumajnouna leads a study day on Abjad numerals - Saturday 17 May. Full details at https://t.co/7dvKbnWxS2
@MichalYouDoing@joumajnouna If you're able to make it on Feb 8th, now is the time to book at https://t.co/rTtSmSlHWe. Only 3 spaces left and I'm just about to give a last promotional boost....
@joumajnouna I hadn't forgotten about the workshop/masterclass idea - would be great if it's possible - but didn't want to intrude on your creative time this term. Judging from your recent posts though, you now seem to be well and truly in the home straight.
@joumajnouna@bodleianlibs When can I join the queue to order this up from Merton College Special Collections?! I know from recent experience that available slots are necessarily limited....
We are pleased to host an Open House for University of Oxford Freshers (undergraduate-level and graduate-level students) on Saturday, 30th November.
To attend, please register by noon on Friday 29th November.

@MichalYouDoing@joumajnouna Actually, you do have another chance, though for unfortunate reasons. Taha is not well so we've just rescheduled the event. It's now happening on Saturday 8 February. Wishing him all the best! The Eventbrite page is now updated at https://t.co/8zKmEM0xVk
@joumajnouna What sites were you using? Are you looking to generate a printout (black on white)? While you can't (currently) turn off the ecliptic, the Campanus houses or the brass colour, everything else at https://t.co/eQfSlpC9V7 can be removed, an₫ you can set your latitude.
@nassaujuan@joumajnouna Astrolabes and armillaries are indeed a highlight @HSMOxford, but I think Einstein's blackboard might want to have a word (not to mention original Oxford penicillin apparatus, Marconi's first public radio demonstration, Moseley's X-ray tubes.... need I go on?)
