The jetty at Largs was completed, opening with the Pier Hotel and Largs railway on Dec 23.
The jetty became the landing place for many European immigrants, many of whom spent their first night in the hotel.

The great conjunction was nearly clouded out but I got some halfway decent shots though the cloud over exposed the planets to see the moons, decided not to take the scope to the end of the street, a good move as the clouds came in thicker and started to drizzle
