I’d like to thank the folks at Gray Fox Comics for their glowing review of the Voidwalker graphic novel by myself and @garylaibart, and calling it one of the best books of the year. Voidwalker was a true labor of love on both our parts, a fantasy project that germinated for over 20 years. The book was funded by a crowdfunding campaign on the ZOOP platform, so if you didn’t order it, it may be a bit hard to get hold of. But with a little luck, it will find wider publication soon.
If you haven’t heard “Abused” — the powerful new song I co-wrote with singer-songwriter Liyah Bey — be sure to check it out now on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, and everywhere you get your music.
Something very exciting is beginning to happen around Liyah’s music… and the audience is about to get a whole lot bigger.
And this summer, look for a major live performance in Southern California as the next chapter begins.
Here is my publisher and manager, Ken F. Levin (exec producer of The Boys) and his faithful companion, Kowalski. We’ll both be at the 1First Comics booth at the Amazing Vegas con starting next Friday. Ken will have his great kids book, Mr. Boo (starring Kowalski) and I’ll have copies of several Zen Intergalactic Ninja books, as well as The Real Superheroes of Beverly Hills illustrated novel. Hope to see you there!
With genius showrunner/writer of The Boys, Eric Kripke and actress Mandy Fason at a screening of the show’s final episode at the DGA. Huge kudos to my publisher and manager Ken F. Levin, one of the key forces behind bringing The Boys to the screen in the first place.
Here’s a great piece of fanart by an artist whose name indicates he’s probably either Russian or Lithuanian – but whatever his derivation, I’m loving his reinterpretation of the classic cover of Zen Bounty Hunter by Bill Maus.
The launch of the Kickstarter campaign for our biggest volume ever—241 pages of some of the rarest and most unusual Zen Intergalactic Ninja stories—is coming soon. Sign up for updates and alerts now at https://t.co/JoSwFVfTSN
At the offices of Thump Records (l to r) executive Brandoe Padilla, Thump President Bill Walker, singer-songwriter Liyah Bey, myself and talent agent Pierre Patrick. Major announcement coming soon.
If you’ve watched The Simpsons – – and who hasn’t? – – then you certainly know who MOE is. And here’s the real-life Moe, along with my publisher and The Boys executive producer, Ken Levin, and me.
With talent agent Pierre Patrick at Variety’s A Night In the Writer’s Room event, where many of television’s top writers and showrunners discusssd their craft. Among them was Eric Kripke of The Boys, which is executive produced by 1First Comics’ Ken F. Levin, publisher of Zen Intergalactic Ninja and The Real Superheroes of Beverly Hills.
