@gumpy77 I think his position is untenable. Bad situation could be made even worse if they back him now but sack him September/October with no chance of getting a decent replacement mid-season.
@gumpy77 Even if we’d lost less games, we are such a bad team on the eyes. No heart, no desire. That starts at the top. Jürgen would have had even this injury plagued bunch running through walls. He also did way more with way less.
@lfc_arrow Thought our recruitment was shocking. No balance to the team and worse squad depth than last season. Played our best midfielder at RB for what a quarter of the season. Not sure it can be fixed in 1 summer either 😔
Never thought I’d say this but it has gotten to the point where I’d consider Gerrard for manager. Anything but Slot. Anyone but Slot. Anyone who will act like they give a hoot.
Reading this I wouldn’t wish a return to LFC for Jürgen. He gave us his everything, gave LFC and identity, won it all and left a legend. I hope he continues to enjoy life to the fullest, he deserves all the happiness in the world.
Klopp via FB: “ Since I stepped away from the daily pressure and noise, I’ve entered a completely new phase of my life. To be completely honest with you, some days I didn’t even know what games were being played! I’ve been entirely disconnected from that world, and for the first time in 25 years, I am living a truly normal and quiet life.I spend my time now working out, enjoying the good weather, and spending as much time as possible with my grandchildren and family—the simple things that football kept me away from for so many years. For a long time, I lived like James Bond, waking up every day to do the same intense routine over and over again to succeed. Now, there is no more standing in the rain for hours, and no more press conferences three times a week.I’m 58 now, and although people keep asking me about returning to coaching, at this moment, I don’t feel like I miss anything at all. I am incredibly happy with what I am doing now, whether it's my new role with Red Bull or just being a normal guy enjoying every single minute of his https://t.co/koRdt5DwOx is too short, and now it’s finally time for me to enjoy it and all the little details I never got to see before.I hope you all have a wonderful day, and keep smiling! ❤️”
@its__lew Neco is only 25 and has averaged over 30 starts in PL over the past 4 seasons. Bradley and Frimpong have a combined 23 PL starts this season. We need more stability at RB for sure!
The worst thing we can do now, is to make the mistake of waiting to sack Slot in October instead of at the end of this season, so the new manager has the summer and pre-season to begin to turn this club around.
